Opening of Red Contemporary Gallery, Steamboat Springs, Colorado - December 20, 2011

It was a grand opening of Red Contemporary's winter season.  Tucked at the bottom of the mountain in the lobby of the Sheraton Resort Hotel, it was the place to be for artists, friends and tourists readying for the ski season.  Owners, Pat and Susan, represent a sophisticated group of artists and I am pleased to be among the featured Anderson Ranch Alumni.  I always love visiting Steamboat, this time...astoundingly so.

Anderson Ranch - June, 2011

I’ve just returned from a stimulating workshop with minimalist artist, Patsy Krebs at Anderson Ranch, Colorado.  Her sensitivity to the nuances of Abstraction allowed me to further break down imagery and ideas into a simplicity of forms I have been reaching for.
